The inquiry process is designed to be efficient and respectful of your time. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you hit submit.
01
You hear back within 1-1-2 business days
Sandi reviews every inquiry personally and responds directly — no automated sequences, no gatekeeping. You'll receive a reply within one business day acknowledging your inquiry and proposing next steps.
02
A 30-minute discovery call
If there's a potential fit, Sandi will schedule a 30-minute call to understand your challenge more deeply, answer your questions, and give you an honest assessment of whether and how Bonded in Science can help. No obligation.
03
A clear proposal if we're the right fit
If the discovery call confirms a good match, you'll receive a written proposal within five business days — with a defined scope, timeline, and pricing. No ambiguity, no surprises.
Is Bonded in Science the right fit for your organization?
Bonded in Science works best in specific situations — and Sandi will tell you honestly if another resource would serve you better. Here's a straightforward look at where this partnership works well.
Your challenge is in chemical characterization, E&L, or biocompatibility
These are Sandi's deepest areas of expertise — especially where ISO 10993-18, ISO 10993-1, and the broader biocompatibility framework are involved.
You need senior expertise, not junior support
You want to work directly with someone who has 35 years of hands-on experience — not a team where the senior person reviews but doesn't do the work.
You value a long-term scientific partner over a transactional vendor
The project based or retainer model works best for organizations that want someone who understands their products, their team, and their regulatory history over time.
You don’t need a large team or high-volume testing capacity.
Bonded in Science is a collaborative partner — not just a full-service laboratory. For small-scale programs, our independent expert practice is the ideal choice.
Your timeline is measured in days or weeks not hours.
Good regulatory science takes the time it takes. If you need something turned around in 24 hours, that's a conversation worth having — but it may not always be possible.

Common questions
Before you reach out
Is the discovery call really free?
Yes — always. The purpose of the discovery call is to understand your situation and determine whether there's a good fit. There is no charge and no obligation for that conversation.
Do you work with companies outside the US?
Yes. Bonded in Science works with life science companies globally. While the primary regulatory focus is FDA and ISO standards, international regulatory submissions are also within scope.
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. All inquiry information and subsequent conversations are treated with complete confidentiality. Most clients bring their own NDAs, but one can be supplied and executed prior to any substantive discussion.
How quickly can an engagement start?
Typically within one to two weeks of a signed agreement, depending on availability. If your situation is urgent, please note that in the form and Sandi will prioritize accordingly.
What if I'm not sure what kind of help I need?
That's exactly what the discovery call is for. Many clients come in knowing they have a problem but not knowing how to frame it — that's a perfectly good starting point for a conversation.
Can I reach out by email instead?
Of course. If you prefer to start the conversation by email, reach Sandi directly at sschaible@bondedinscience.com. The form is simply the most efficient way to provide context upfront.
